Once AGAIN, Hollywood destroying something that was done perfect the first time, and turning it into a slanderous slap in the face. I've never posted a review about a movie before but this one deserved a mention. Going into it I thought it would be terrible like all the other ones. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very good. The actions scenes were great and it contained good humor throughout. I'd strongly recommend seeing this movie you someone else.

First viewing is confusing and Kristen gets all the best lines, the rest are off-putting and tone is weird. But second viewing you see it's smoother, funnier, sexy usual beat of this series. For this to reboot the series it needs to be viewed twice and then judged. Tone, casting, etc nowhere near weird and is actually good second time around.

I never really had fondness to the 1st Charlies Angels and looking at the trailer, I never really had any expectation for the film going in. And well it was what it was and I believe that the script really didn't have much anything going for itself. But it seemed that they were doing what they can with what they had. Performances were good, I thought Naomi Scott was probably the best among them and was certainly the standout. The rest of the cast did good performances the material was the problem. An actor can do great scenes however if the script was crap it will definitely throw the actor off. And I thought this was the problem with the film, the script itself. Now the biggest issue for me was the fight scenes. In a world where John Wick exist it is kinda shocking that directors will go back to the old style of getting these shots of quick cuts and angle shifts put together like a collage. It is proven that audiences prefer to see wide shots and tend to be drawn more to wides. It kinda feels like it is a backward move for the film and it just looks terrible. The comedy was too forced and it really just wasn't funny. I feel like they write things as they go along filming casusing many scenes to be rendered useless and act as fillers as they transition along with every single pop song in the charts. Furthermore it is so by the numbers, there literally is no surprise. Every scene is predictable and it just comes offoring.
All in all, I don't feel like the end product didn't justify the reason to make the film. I thought they could've done so much more to improve this and not rely on obsolete method of crafting a film.
